Michael Conigliaro, who is running for New York State Assembly to represent District 28, said that crime and small businesses are the two most pressing issues facing his district.

In an interview with CityTalks, he promised that he would make every effort to ensure public safety. If elected, he said, he would work with fellow legislators to repeal the bail reform, which he believes is the catalyst for crime increase. He also said that he would make sure that small businesses get support they need to recover from the Covid pandemics. He said that he would introduce legislation that would allow new businesses in his district to enjoy a one-year moratorium on sales tax so that they could get their feet on the ground.
